When people come to psychotherapy, there is often already a long-lasting pressure of suffering. Feelings, thoughts and behavior impair the quality of life and interpersonal relationships. It is all too understandable that there is often an urgent desire to change this condition. This will to change and the willingness to deal with oneself and one's own relationships are important prerequisites for the success of psychotherapy.

This confrontation can sometimes be very challenging; it is sometimes perceived as unpleasant to deal with one's own feelings and experiences. Certainly not every hour is a "highlight", but it is a chance to become more open to one's own experiences in a protected environment.
Psychotherapy is a continuous process that takes time.

As a person-centered psychotherapist, I strive to create an appreciative, congruent and judgment-free environment. This should - again - enable a freer access to oneself, the individual resources and needs, in order to reach a better understanding of one's own self.

Psychotherapy is also to be seen as personality development, it is not only healing of psychological suffering, but a special form of communication and relationship that promotes development.

At the end of this joint process, you should be able to shape and experience your life and relationships under different conditions.

Psychotherapy is subject to absolute confidentiality (§ 15 Psychotherapy Act)
